The Studio Story
In 1996, three former colleagues from the software industry decided to partner and build their own company, creating casual games for corporate brands. By 1998, the Splashworks studio was a reality—and we’ve been helping brands to play ever since.
Our mission is to craft game experiences that forge emotional connections, build community, and reinforce loyalty between a brand and its target audience.
We understand how people play—across all devices—and how to translate that knowledge into compelling UX that engages players in every environment. We know that impressive game mechanics mean nothing if you don’t deliver a user experience that keeps your audience coming back to play.
We’ve launched over 1,000 games and worked with companies on the leading edge of interactive media, including Nickelodeon, Hasbro, Mattel, American Girl, Game Show Network, Neopets, Playmates Toys, and The Hub.
We partner with our clients to understand a brand and its content, to analyze their target demographic, and to agree upon appropriate game solutions. Today, that means providing multi-platform, mobile-ready games that can deliver across a variety of browsers and devices.
